Did you hear?!? WOP Has Moved! #MKPHOTOG #BUCKSPHOTOG

So if we've spoken or chatted in the last month or so, you may already know by now that WOP has relocated!!! Yup - yet another person joining the outflow from our beloved country. But no Canada for me (lol) - I'm back home in my beloved Milton Keynes in the UK. #nowamiltonkeynesphotographer #bucksphotographer

I’ve written and rewritten several versions of this blog post over the last month but it's been hard to put all my thoughts and emotions into words. As Drake would say, I'm all "in my feelings"....lol.

So I've decided to just keep this simple and use this opportunity to say a massive THANK YOU!!! (cue GIFPY overload #sorrynotsorry)

I started this journey as a professional photographer 7 years ago with the hopes I could make it for 6 months. Remember when it all started in 2009 and my very first anniversary as a paid photographer in 2013?!? #timeflies Although it’s definitely been a rollercoaster ride with many highs and just as many lows - I have loved every minute of it!

I am incredibly proud to have built a high end brand that has focused on celebrating and documenting everyday women in every phase of life. It took me a while but I found my place and I found my clients who love me as much as I love them and that has probably been the most rewarding part of this whole journey for me. #blessed #thankful #nothingtakenforgranted

So first to my CLIENTS! Many of whom have come back year after year and refer me constantly - I do not take you for granted! There would be no WOP without you and it has been an absolute honour being of service to you!

This next phase of WOP is all about creating even better experiences including custom, one of of a kind products for my clients and it's so exciting that I'm now in an enabling environment that allows me to up my game and serve you better. I'm super excited about all I will have to offer and since Milton Keynes is like 30 minutes from London (closer and a lot less traffic than Ikoyi to Lekki #hinthint) - I hope we will be able to continue with a lot of our relationships. #WOPclientsarethebest #callme

When it comes to weddings, I have worked with many many wonderfully talented vendors over the years but 2 of my personal favourites and biggest supporters are - Timi of I Do Weddings / I Do Events and Gozie of Coker Creative. It has been such an honour working with both of you in various capacities and as I watch your businesses grow and soar to unparalleled heights, please know that I will always be here to support you in any way I can. #eventplannersoflife #weloveIDW #weloveCC #noonedoesitbetter #callthem #thankmelater

Finding the right Glam Team to support my portrait work was important and I was blessed to find these 2 amazingly talented women - MUA Magician Jumoke of Chic MakeupNG and Hair Stylist Extraordinaire Hairssence. You are both artists and I am grateful for all the beautiful work we were able to create together. Thank you for everything! #highlyrecommended

There are so many more people I need to thank as our industry is a vibrant one filled with so many talented individuals. It has been a blessing to learn, grow, share and collaborate with so many people at the top of their game. I can't possibly thank everyone here but I will try and continue to do so on a one on one basis as I catch up.

To my supporters from all over the world - for your kind words, your silent cheers, your likes, your emails, your posts, your shares and your referrals - I am thankful and I appreciate you. You help me move forward a little more each day.

While this may be the end of this particular chapter of WOP - it is certainly not the end of our story. We are taking a little break for the rest of the year just to sort out the home front but we'll be back to full steam from January with a brand new studio, team and availability to shoot weddings and events across the UK, Europe (Brexit allowing - lol) and the world.

Here's to another couple of decades of creating, documenting and celebrating!

All my very best
Wani
