Beautiful Destination Wedding in Athens

One of my favourite parts of what I do is getting to visit new places. I had never been to Greece before but after 5 days in Athens (we made it a mini family holiday too), I'm a big fan. #highlyrecommended #beautifulplace #excellentfood #friendlylocals #lifeisgood #winning

Now for the reason I was in Greece in the first place - #LesJohns19. Louise and Eskor are a lovely pair who complement each other wonderfully. I can only describe Louise as a ray of sunshine - she's incredibly sweet, always smiling and the camera just adores her. She made my job super easy. #winnning #myfavouritetypeofbride 🙂 Eskor was a little less keen on picture taking but he was a good sport about it, so major brownie points awarded. #thankyouEskor 🙂

There are so many things I loved about this wedding but top 3 has to be the speeches. Ranging across best friends and family - these were some of the most thoughtful speeches I've ever heard. We laughed, we cried, we cheered, we heckled but most of all, it was abundantly clear that both Louise and Eskor are deeply loved and cherished and that only made the day and storytelling a little more special.

Eskor's vote of thanks was particularly heartwarming as he took time out to thank everyone who had been instrumental in creating their special day. But honestly the best part of his speech was his animated retelling of his struggle for his first kiss with Louise. He's a great story teller and had us all in stitches. #nevergiveup #perseverancepaysoff

I'm always here for a good love story and I loved all Louise's Dad had to say about her Mum. He asked her to marry him just after 3 weeks of dating (she said yes - lol) and over 30 years later, they are still going strong. #blessed #marriagegoals #happilyeverafter

And then of course, Eskor and his mum's dance had me in more tears. Dancing is their "thing" and it was clear how close mother and son are. Weddings aren't just about the couple but there are so many layers of relationships to celebrate, it's an honour to be able to document all these special moments for my couples. #bestjobintheworld

All in all, this wedding was a total #lovefest and it was absolutely perfect.

Louise & Eskor - it is clear from the 2 days of documenting this love story that you are both fantastic people who are dearly loved. I'm excited for you as you begin this new chapter of your love story. I wish for you all you want for yourselves and I pray that your marriage will be fillled with love, kindness, patience, friendship and God's love. All my very best. xxx
