How much do I love this couple? Let me count the ways....Minjiba is dark chocolate goodness with a smile that shines like the sun and Ighosime is nutella, hard and crunchy on the outside and all gooey on the inside when it comes to Minjiba oops sorry, Mrs O. 🙂 I seriously couldn't stop smiling as I looked through their images for this sneak peek because this is a couple who are just full of life and joy and were an absolute pleasure to photograph. Top contenders for #wopcoupleoftheyear2016 - whoop whoop.
So you may know Minjiba as the lovely face behind food blog, Omnom Lagos - where you can get all sorts of wonderful recipes for food, drinks and my personal favourites - desserts!!! Check that out here and here and clearly, there was no shortage of amazing food! However what I loved was how they really personalised their wedding, from the fun menu cards to the little #minjigho newsletter that greeted guests. I also thought it was pretty special that Minjiba's mum (Noji Art) provided the beautiful aged teak platters that formed the base of their centrepieces. All in all, the minimalistic rustic glam look was blended and executed beautifully.
A shout out to Gozie and team for pulling off a wonderful event and as always, my favourite partner in crime and second shooter - Mr Lumi Morgan - thank you.
Thank you Minjiba and Ighosime for choosing WOP to document your amazing day - I wish you both a blessed and gloriously happy life together. Mwah mwah mwah!
Enough talk - here's a little extended sneak peek of what they got up to. Enjoy!
