When I first met Yewande and Dayo to chat about their wedding, I couldn't help but notice what a good looking couple they were and then I saw Dayo's royal blue suede mocassins and I just knew their wedding would be styling! 🙂 This fabulous couple were a breeze to work with at their pre wedding shoot on the mainland and the camera definitely loves them, which made me even MORE excited about their big day.
So Yewande and Dayo got married at the First Baptist Church in Festac Town and then we went down the road to the very colourful TFC Place to get the party started. Everyone has commented on how stylish the bridesmaids looked in their royal blue dresses and the groomsmen were dressed in a shade of blue, I had never seen before but which they had just the right amount of swag for. I am a fan of anything tulle and Yewande was definitely the Tulle Princess in her gorgeous dress from Perfect Occasions Bridal in Yaba. As for Dayo, he is just a cool dude and totally rocked the blue suit and orange bow tie combo. This is a group that is not afraid of colour and I think they have to win the award for the most stylish bridal party this year so far. Of course, I have to mention Mannie of Cool FM who did a fantastic job as the MC at the reception and my partner in crime, Mr Deji Atte of Deji A Photography who is always so great to work with.
Thank you Yewande and Dayo for choosing WOP to document the beginning of a new chapter in your love story. It was a truly lovely day and I wish you both an amazingly blessed life together. 🙂

I'll end this one with the toast the couple had in their programme, which I thought was quite lovely:
"For hearing my thoughts,
understanding my dreams,
and being my best friend.
For filling my life with joy and
loving me without end.
I DO"
