Yes! Gorgeous location? Ooh yes please! Oh and super laid back couple who give me lots of time for my creatives? Jackpot!!! So I don't have to tell you that I was SUPER excited to shoot Nana and Gyasi's London wedding last month. This was also my first UK wedding and only my second solo wedding, so the pressure was definitely on.
So, Nana and Gyasi are a Ghanaian-Trinidadian (that's a mouthful) love match based in London and were married on a beautiful summer's day (yay London!) at the quaint Raleigh Road United Church in Richmond. The reception was then held at the gorgeous Cambridge Cottage at Kew Gardens. It was a very well planned day and I thought the couple took great care of their guests from providing classic London transport (I love me a big red bus) to the reception, the string quartet playing beautiful music during the ceremony and cocktail hour, the cute little wooden frames, which were both place cards and favours for the guests to take home and of course, the surprise tour around the garden while we were out for the creatives. I also loved just how into each other these two are, their first dance was to the D'angelo classic "Nothing Even Matters" and for those couple of minutes, it was like they were the only two people in the room. Ahh, the romance. 🙂
Nana and Gyasi, it was truly a pleasure to share your day and document your love story. I wish you all the best as you build a new life and family together. xxx
p.s: can I just mention how gorgeous Nana's smile is - literally lights up the room. Lucky man Gyasi. 😉
p.p.s: you may notice that a particular little angel has been featured in quite a few of the images below. I fell in love with this little lady on the day and decided that she is going to become my daughter in law. So cute!!!
