Ash & Gbenga's White Wedding in Apapa

So this is a way overdue post, so overdue in fact that this lovely couple just celebrated their one year anniversary but their day was so much fun, I just have to share. 🙂

Now if you've been following me for a while, you'll remember that I took a year long hiatus from photography in 2011 as I was busy doing this and I definitely wanted to ease myself back in hoping that I hadn't completely forgotten everything I knew about wedding photography in Nigeria. My pal and super awesome photographer, Dami of Duola's gallery was kind enough to invite me to be a third shooter with herself and Babz of Babz Bamiro Photography and you can check out their images here and here.

Just a side note to mention that Dami has now moved to LA, so if you are looking for a wedding photographer in the States, then be sure to holla. She's one talented lady. 🙂

This was another beautiful wedding - Ash and Gbenga are a good looking couple and remind me of Barbie and Ken (if Ken was black and Barbie was mixed race) and their bridal train was pretty hot too. All in all, they made our jobs very easy. I just wanted to share the quote that was on their wedding programme  because I thought it was quite beautiful:

"Today I marry my best friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with and love"
