Nigeria Wedding Photographer || Weddings, Weddings & More Weddings

POSTED IN
Hey guys, hope you are having a good weekend. It's been a busy couple of weeks both personally and professionally and I'm in the middle of editing 5 weddings, so I am wayyyy behind on my blogging but thought I would share some of my favourite images from the different events.
Also just to apologise in advance as all will be quiet on the blogging front for a little while as I will be travelling. But anyone in the UK who is interested in a shoot in the next few weeks should drop me a mail here or on my Facebook page.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
All the best

Ash & Gbenga White Wedding (February 2012) - This was a fun wedding. The couple were gorgeous and I have to say it was one of the best looking bridal trains I have ever seen (apart from mine of course ;-)) A really fun and laid back couple made for a pretty relaxed day.

Teido & Wari Traditional Wedding (Port Harcourt, April 2012) - This was my first time shooting a Calabari / Ijaw wedding and I have to say I was loving the whole South-South vibe especially the outfits. I'm going to have to find a lil hat and cane for Eli for one of his many photoshoots coming up. Ijaw tradition says Teido has to play hard to get until Wari has paid enough dowry for her hand in marriage, hence the pouting. I have to say she did a great job and made Wari work hard to get the smile that eventually followed. (Check out some more images from this event on my Facebook page

Teido & Wari White Wedding (Port Harcourt, April 2012) - This is one my favourite images of the day. This is Teido and her paternal Grandma, who is thought to be somewhere between 98 and 102 years old. Doesn't she look freaking amazing?!? I just love this intimate moment with her beloved grand-daughter.  (Check out some more images from this event on my Facebook page)

Yvonne & Felix Traditional Wedding (Lagos, April 2012) - This kind of wedding is right up my alley as it was relatively small and pretty relaxed. Love Felix showing Yvonne who the man of the house is. (Check out some more images from this event on my Facebook page)

Yvonne & Felix White Wedding (Lagos, April 2012) - One thing I loved about this wedding is that the couple were great about taking some time out after the ceremony for a mini photo session - just the bridal train and I with none of the usual paparazzi to disrupt our flow. We got a lot of beautiful images, which I am looking forward to sharing in the full blog post. (Check out some more images from this event on my Facebook page)
