Ooh I’m so excited to share this sneak peek of Shade and Walid's intimate outdoor wedding from the weekend.
When Shade first got in touch and said; i) she's a fan of my work (check!), ii) she's having an outdoor ceremony (double check!) and iii) she was having just under 150 guests (triple check!!!), I was like, umm yes please, sign me up for this unicorn wedding! Trust me I've been doing this for over 6 years now and it is hard to find a beautifully curated intimate wedding with great clients with great taste style and taste and fantastic vendors (in Lagos anyway). So thank you Shade and Walid for bringing me to my happy place - lol!
Although I didn't get a chance to meet the happy couple until 2 weeks before the wedding, we hit it off straight away. Shade and Walid are genuinely nice people and during our meeting, as they teased each other about Shade’s love for picture taking and Walid's lack of enthusiasm for posed pictures, it was easy to tell they were not just partners embarking on a life journey but good friends too, which I always think is the best way to start. 🙂
I don't think you can miss how gorgeous and model-esque Shade is and honestly a complete breeze to work with. But I have to give a special shout out to Walid for his incredible patience with me constantly saying - "this is your last picture, I promise".....I'm sorry I lied Walid but I think the pictures were well worth it - hee hee.
Mr & Mrs Z, thank you so much for trusting WOP with your special day. Wishing you all the happiness in the world as you go on this exciting journey together. God bless you plenty plenty. 🙂
Enjoy the sneak peek. ?
