So, I must confess that this has been one of my favourite weddings this year. I had really really REALLY wanted to do a bridal party session in a unique location but never quite got the opportunity to do so, mostly due to logistics. But this time all the elements came together with a fabulous couple who trusted my vision, a super efficient wedding planner and a little bit of luck, which allowed us to create some of my favourite couple images to date. I love these images and knew they would be the perfect choice for creating my new set of sample albums. You can check those out over here.
So Yvonne and Felix met while they were both working in a bank in Lagos but kinda lost touch when Yvonne moved away. However, clearly they were meant to be because they reconnected again when Yvonne moved back to Lagos in 2009 and the rest as they say is history. The wedding day was lovely, Yvonne made for a truly stunning bride (I die for her beautiful lace cover up) and Felix looked pretty dapper in his blue suit. They both just radiated joy, happiness and thankfulness on the day, which made my job oh so easy. If you missed it, you can check out images from their tradtional wedding in Ikoyi here.
A special thank you to my second shooter, Dami Olubanwo of Duola's Gallery who covered the groom preparation. She has just moved to LA (so jealous!), so if you are getting married in the States, then be sure to check her website out right here.
If you are interested in Wani Olatunde Photography shooting your wedding, then be sure to contact me at email@example.com. I would love to chat about how I can help you capture and create some truly priceless memories. 🙂
p.s: I thought it would be nice to start adding a list of the vendors at the end of each post to help you lovely brides to be still in the wedding planning phase.
