It does not matter at all! But I feel there is perception that malle photog are bettr! For me it does not matter!I initially found it dfficult to be confident in ths all male environment! But grdually when you see other ‘sister’photographer doing ther thing!I told myself! I can do ths! We rock! Loving ur work btw wani.its refrehing to see another female in lagos doing this! Thanks Chika. Definitely be confident, my mantra, anything guys can do, I can do better – lol. I think female photographers definitely need to support each other especially since we are in the minority in this market. Will be sure to check out your work. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
I agree that women make other women feel more comfortable! I do know there are some talented male photogs out there though, and I think ultimately it just comes down to stylistic preference.
Haha – most definitely. Some of my favourite photogs are men. At the end of the day, just need to go with someone who suits what you want. 🙂
Wow, I’ve never thought of it that way. And you’re totally right. I feel like women definitely do make woman look better and feel better during a shoot. Nice post 🙂
